NCA Pure Glow Assurance™ is a consumer awareness campaign designed to showcase NCA member products and empower consumers to make safer, more informed candle purchasing decisions. It’s a benefit of NCA membership – a way to translate the trust and standards you already uphold as an NCA member into a visible, consumer-facing signal.
Every active NCA member has a role to play, though how you participate depends on your membership type:
- Regular Members (manufacturers and distributors) can list their consumer brands directly in the Pure Glow Assurance™ directory.
- Associate Members (suppliers of containers, waxes, wicks, fragrances, and other components) can use Pure Glow Assurance™ messaging and materials to highlight their role in supporting industry-wide safety standards to their manufacturer and distributor customers.
- Affiliate Members (retailers, and manufacturers/distributors with majority non-US/Canada production) can use campaign messaging and social content to educate customers and promote the Pure Glow Assurance™-listed brands they carry.
This program exists because you’re a member – it’s one of the ways NCA membership pays off directly for your business.
At the heart of the campaign is a new NCA Pure Glow Assurance™ directory where consumers can find and determine candle products that have been responsibly manufactured, tested, and comply with established safety guidelines.

No – the NCA Pure Glow Assurance™ is included as part of your NCA membership at no additional cost. As such, it is a premier member benefit and only NCA members are authorized to participate.
